READING AT THE AMPHITHEATER THE CORTIJANO. AS

Santiago is not an easy city to me. The invitation of Oscar Saavedra and people" Decentralization Poetics "to get a reading collective was not easily accepted by both distances, and by the lack of time, and of course, the malditez of transantiago. Whatever the case, undertook the challenge from Pudahuel to Conchalí in completely unknown territory, unfortunately I arrived late (which ever is my habit) but it did not yet begun. Finally, almost no presentations, surrounded by a delightful informality, I could hear the voice of Elvira Hernandez, Jose Angel Cuevas, Eli Neira, Oscar Saavedra, Mauricio Huenún, Jordi Lloret, and some other guys that I can not remember, and then it was my turn : I said hello and read some texts of Benito Cortez and Samuel Nunez, and then closed with some texts of mine. No, unfortunately, caught up and enjoy the video which closed the presentation and started back with my partner and my son to Pudahuel, resufriendo the transantiago. I went in and came out of that presentation, almost like lightning. There were no discussions or talks the ocher dilated taste of wine, but actual speed, extended digital dialogue of these new currencies. But I was, finally, with the sweetness of friendship beyond words and even meaning, in a strange dialogue of silence and distance, they only know about those who love poetry.

Why Do My Hands Burn After Shower

whale songs.

would not be strange
That the sky is falling While smoke apart

The agenda is

Silence of the Lambs
As the bow across the strings of the violin

The knife to the throat. And I fell

Having admired the challenge had to gamble

What was the prize
If you do not know why
So much sadness.
We listed,
From one to death with bullets
A decorated syringes
Other
Treating stubborn life distracting

O What a failure, what laughter.
girl overly long sleeves

Naked from the waist down by surrounding a sea

so cold and cunning as your last kiss
Do not you admire my hands ...
spiked?
And there I was, like the captain of a ship
rickety
swaying to the rhythm of sex, ecstatic
Seeing surrounded by angry
armored steel, metal, brilliant:
But wood floats. What
mounted warrior
With the bird woman's skin?
air under their wings singing.
The raging waves almost
Sprinkle
anger that shines in his armor. The heavens hold
By a miracle. Elsewhere
unborn who recites
These memoirs. Oyash

(The
will not be coming but in the memory of death.) Echoing

whales singing

The unfathomable mysteries of the atom
We wink ever, before the time nests

The
fragile and fleeting breath of our hearts.
And finally we have
A painful sense of timelessness:
An old silent fact

Feeding pigeons in the park forgetting.
That split second most glorious.

My favorite historical Judas.

is interesting. Judas, Judas despised, is the only one in my opinion, he deserves some respect in all these stories of sin and torture: Judas loved his people, to every man, woman and child to suffer, that as much as he loved with human love to the suffering, hated with equal force to those who What made them suffer was this enormous humanity that should do it unless the son of God. Loved his people, who came to Jesus through that love. For Jesus was bringing promises of salvation, freedom, justice. And he joined Judas but before long, saw nothing but business as usual, promises, beautiful words and no action. But still, for the sake of his people, neglect to give Jesus one last chance, if Jesus was really the son of God, if he really was going to fulfill his promises of salvation, justice, freedom, then he was joined by the people Quie to shake off the yoke of the Roman Empire enslaving, and his word would have the strength to convince the council this How else could raise the dead and to multiply the loaves, I could not convince a group of priests scholars of these words? But he had to take him there. Jesus never wanted to attend ... Judas was that this was fulfilled, not by those coins that never asked for or wanted, but because the birth of Jesus, Son of God, will blaze the fate of his people from the council. And this did not happen ... double disappointment for Judas ... Jesus could not do, his word and his divinity were able to convince the council ... more than enough proof that it actually was not the Messiah. But Judas, beyond that or not Jesus was the son of God, loved him as a man loves another man, as a dear friend who, believing child of God, had given to a torture and certain death. To all this it should be added, that not being the son of God and what could I do that man, Jesus, for the freedom of the people he so loved Judas? ... Nothing. Then had no alternative but to his own death. Judas believed, more than any other, but even-that Peter denied him three times, in the divinity of Jesus, and his disappointment was overwhelming.
He is, in his great love of equals, a man pained by the misfortunes of the man, who was able to look forward, not upward like a slave, not down as a master, who paid the hardest consequences. After all, if Jesus was the son of God, then is not dead and is alive at the right hand of his father. If it was, then buried the hopes of an entire people for freedom from slavery and at least went down in history as one of its most striking characters. Judas, however, is the common man faced the tragedy of history, one that no more faith in yourself, try to change the world, blinded by their own hope of a better life for those who always loved his people .

Where To Buy Schwartzkopf

Samuel Nunez, Poet. Poem

Galleguillos Nuñez Samuel was born in another era. Rather, under the stars and when the time walking slower. There had to pay to be happy. Enough beaded necklace and a blanket to make partner. A whistle, a crest, a lemon, a handful of nuts. To love is like a conversation. They spoke at length with friends, some music, some journals, of certain letters and certain songs. It was in the wave like a leaf in the wind. Not much was known here in the ass of the world because it too came through the senses. The words and the school is served, it was poetry, and the unhealthy habit of talking back and forth, the only spaces that limit today. The world was on track except for some balls to be resisted, and they kicked ass in Vietnam, and top votes in Chile. It was not Red Stone because he came back. Grass is best traveled in the Valley to infinity. The landing was forced. Handrail only poetry. The poetry blog serves to go searching the life bits and pieces, flashes, notes, footnotes, small telegrams in a strange communion between words and the speed of life. When Samuel tries to write a poem comes out, does not fit, but when it deploys its web timid air of the day catching small insects wonderful wings or elytra quivering shimmer. Samuel Nunez's poems are like a hug, a kiss, and a friendly smile, warm greeting as a brother, or sometimes a frown, a lump in his throat, and that does not work the academy but the purity of the soul, closer to classical Chinese poetry to the naturalness of the Beat Generation, with which certain dwellings of culture tend to assimilate. Samuel is a mediocre city and an exceptional poet, a proud looser, a free fearful of his own wings. So when we read the poems of Samuel Nunez have to do in the heat of the day to day, without losing the ability to ride our little haven in a corner of the micro, on a park bench or on the parapet of a bathroom accessory . Samuel music lover, because it is a full-blooded rocker because he knows, like me, who do not fit in the tonteritas rock so necessary in the pop, rock in the vein is outward, like the poems of Núñez. And there, as they wanted the learned lounging-beauty in minimalism, a distance rarely seen, as accurate between speaker and object. No drone or fuss, neither intemperate song (which some mistake for earthquake), shreds no simple narrative of life. Maybe that's why his poetry like and love. Far from the experiments seudovanguardistas, does not neglect the fact that language builds or destroys worlds. Nor was he very interested in their successful epigrams, or dyes haiku, or naif narrative and uncanny ability of the texts. Reading and talking to Samuel Nunez, one can see that every poem of his is a balancing act, no catharsis or self-therapy, but the act of balancing full life in bursts of outrageous talent. In an almost obsessive irrational genius. Samuel is not inspired nor construct his poems: rather they gestated from the germ of life insomniac, so that in some strange belly mature and go on living, then, between Samuel and the poem there is little to do, left to drift as the bird driven from the cliff-a few will die in the attempt but others remain in the sky over the memory of someone, somewhere in the world, and it seems that Samuel, that is enough to keep him uphill.

What Is The Best Lineman Cleat

Holokausto: Horror novel small.

The crisis of science.

Since the second half of the twentieth century and accelerated development of communications and the creation of records, some became interested in the accumulation of strange phenomena known outside science. This process triggered a closing of ranks of the status quo of science and all that was outside its parameters, was considered pure fantasy or events not studied properly. Past few decades, some people with broader criteria and strict scientific-academic training, began to raise the voices for these phenomena, at least be considered as subject matter. Faced with little chance that this happens, some of them began in the early 21 century, to meet and establish their own scientific circuits for the treatment of these phenomena.

Discovery.

molecular biologists Ian and Jon Mcpherson begin a detailed record of variations of DNA mutagens in rodents, however subtle that they might seem. Term lack of funds to thwart this record. The publication of their results did not bring any meaningful conclusions, but the% of mutations found per 1000 births. Years later, professed at the University of New Delhi, Ikar Rupresh, mathematical-statistical, published a paper on data from Mcpherson, mutations were not random and exhibited a pattern more or less recognizable. There being no further information or similar experiences, this hypothesis was closed as a mathematical singularity more. New studies

.

In March 2010, Professor Lorenzo Alvarez continuing discoveries published studies Mcpherson siblings, finding that the percentage of mutations in the same conditions had increased three times more than what has been discovered by the brothers. A few months later, Professor Alvarez received a letter from a group called "premonition", formed by scientists of different nationalities, who had a medical study of human mutations on statistics throughout the world, and that contradicted their study in more than two percent, concluded that the human race mutated more rapidly than any other living being studied. Decided to publish the findings but did not have enough solid evidence, had no impact on the scientific community.

Rupresh and group "premonition.

Three years later, at a symposium held in Mexico, the group "premonition" contact Professor Rupresh to show the data. A few months later was assassinated professed Rupresh in a confusing incident at a bank in Germany, but it was his assistant at the University who continued the work of Rupresh concluding that the sequence pattern began to be tightened quickly discovered, "it's as if they were mutagenic potential leading to a sequence" we he said. They tried to gather all the necessary tests but was again unsuccessful, they could not generalize a particular expertise in molecular behavior more or less common to all living beings, they would have more questions than conclusions. The information available to the scientific community through unofficial channels, triggered some continue studying the phenomenon. The group "Premonition" publicly decides to dissolve amid accusations of pseudoscience and search advertising.

The long distance phone call.

Five years later, the German television program, New Ideas, try contacting the 6 members of "premonition" found that five had died in different circumstances, and the last member whereabouts was not known. Announced this in the program receive a call from an Indian professor who said he was Assistant Professor Rupresh, making startling revelations. According to him, his statistical studies show an inexplicable "stabilization mutagenic possibilities "that could be happening in humans today, with unexpected consequences. "They might be born in amounts more unusual human beings with deformities more stable, which might not necessarily be categorized as diseases," he argued. When journalists tried to locate the program to interview him live, they learned that the author of those ideas was confined in a sanatorium for the mentally ill, and had managed to make the phone call.

Quincy Valdez, the beginning.

At the age of 12 years, Young Quincy Valdez was a miracle for the Latino community in America and a rarity science to their doctors. Victim of a deep structural deformation, and lack of health risks and was carrying an incredible immune system. Had never submitted any of the diseases typical of the other infants. However, his upper extremities were surprisingly long, almost 20% more with a high development of muscle mass as well as your legs, however, were so short that its only two fingers on each hand, almost touched the floor . But most amazing were the chitin symmetrical formations along their fingers in both hands as his feet. Despite their physical, mental development seemed to be rather limited; could not communicate or acquire patterns of behavior more or less tame. Their attitudes were primary and imperative, therefore, that their doctors treated him under tight security, until an incident ended with an escape attempt and the death of young Quincy, at the hands of the guard at the hospital and some police officers who completed baleándolo after he assaulted three people, killing one of them.

Then, later, later ....

then we have no truly reliable records. Detailed materials are lost or are simply scattered or lost. The occurrence of cases such as the young Quincy began to multiply geometric scale, therefore, that emergency euthanasia measures were not enough. After the global policies of mass destruction failed against this phenomenon with characteristics of a pandemic, it was total chaos mutagenic forms multiplied and somehow, were improved to the point, which caused the disintegration of governments and then the social disintegration final. Those who could, continued massive strategy of isolation in remote regions and then the confinement in underground citadels, while the creatures took over and filled the area, killing and assimilating the human race. But that is another story. Jorge Alberto Collao

Literature is Fiction, Or not? Kalimera

extract an interview with Jorge Alberto Collao in German Deutschlandradio Kultur Radio for the Applied Economics program, by economist Jürgen Baas. Jürgen

: Spgrengel Taboada and wrote about his texts that there was no way to understand its principles if they changed the codes through which you can access them. What they referred them exactly? Collao

: You have to ask them first. I personally have not read his opinions but I think that his excessive Americanism-particularly its obsessions with Chile and Venezuela, makes them lose perspective. I said that the spearhead of economic research is a valid indicator to attempt a turning point as it pertains to science, about the need for new approaches. So far, the economy is like the weather. It has, for example, a comprehensive catalog of all imaginable types of clouds, minutely detailed, but nobody so far can artificially reproduce a single one of those kinds of clouds. The same is true today with the economy. Jürgen

: Does this mean then that you would be in a position to claim to have taken the first step in that direction? Collao

: Of course. For over a decade we have published some work on the principle of correlative finally predicted the housing crisis in the United States. The strange thing is that even though we spread abnormal ranges retension rate, no one "inflated" as we say in Chile. The only explanation I found this situation was a connectivity problem: if you do not belong to the circles of power, these were all, as if lying Tobin which merit was given its name. After that, no research since he laid the stone with the Nobel Prize. Jürgen

: But the correlative principle that, despite having been applied to some more or less recent events, is unable to predict no more effective than other instruments. What is your real value then? Collao

: Precisely that is not primarily predictive in nature. In real terms, than it is aware of the gaps to be filled to achieve a functional whole battery of new quantifiers. Those that exist today, and please excuse the frankness-are adapted to the language of politics and undermined its deepest essence. In Chile it is called technocrat to someone who does his work efficiently but does not take into account factors outside of it. The reality is that this definition falls rather in the methodology applied by the context unrelated to operate politically from the structures of power, in that sense the correlative principle is applicable to define such situations. This then indicates the presence of missing links, only if the tortilla is completely detached, it can turn. Jürgen

: Is it a crisis of economics then? Collao

: Nooo, I do not go so far. Speaking from the Lebenswelt to describe a crisis of science seem too pretentious. Husserl and Habermas is a bit of that. But we see some signs close with a strong social impact: there is no quantifier change impact on the Euro currency, but about the stability of macro balances in the process. In Argentina, for example, there is an index reflecting changes in consumption that is reliable, denounced even by the World Bank, and that of Chile, where the discussion of poverty rates are nearly three decades and no one cares refine , locking in an argument is rather spurious policy. If this index is updated historical correlation is lost and therefore the overall usefulness of the indicator. In contrast, if left unchanged, would mean that you can live well with $ 800 Annual per capita, which is one of stupidity. Here is where the correlative is useful. Jürgen

: Another criticism that is made is that the principle of correlation is too literary and lax when expanded as a reliable tool. Collao

: Well, is that they are too accustomed to not thinking. In that sense Zizek would agree with me but do not share his orthodoxy. The question is what do we do? Of course, if I have a Mercedes Benz, I need tools for Mercedes Benz, but if you want to change the vehicle in which I move, the economy, I used the tools of Mercedes Benz, but a key is always key. Jürgen

: Okay Mr. Collao, has been a pleasure to talk these issues with you hope to have shown a different point of view of interest. Finally, what would the next steps, what is the avant of the future. Collao

: Thurow, which remains an advantage from my point of view, is not no coward. Persistently has the recipe for success but it does not recognize it: the search for new categories of merchandise. This is what's next and for that conventional economics does not work. As we say in Chile "in troubled waters, fishermen gain", that is my warning to the advantage of the unscrupulous.
But some already know what it is. Thanks for having listened.

A fun joke.

Heisenberg says: Since we three are together in a bar, it must be a joke. But I can not tell if it's funny or not. Gödel

responds: We are inside the joke, so it is impossible for us to say whether funny or not. You have to appreciate from the outside. Chomsky

And shakes his head and says: Of course it is funny, what happens is that you are counting wrong.

The Fallacy of the Financing of Culture. Canon

Jorge Alberto Collao
January 2008

The conclusion I've drawn after so many decades linked to cultural activities and more that have puzzled me, I can only conclude that art, culture should not be funded . But, with both cultural activist, poet, writer or creator, lining up in the coffers of the State or a generous patron, I have nothing else to laugh and continue my journey. My conclusion is simple: when a cultural or artistic expression becomes a commodity, will inevitably lose their power of communicating the process to become a symbol tight, maimed in his huge load of future men and women worldwide. Commodified art [1] , which has nothing to do here at this critical market price-but with what it means to be a tradable product: the stratification of its characteristics, its standardization, its definition within the framework of tradable and, therefore, the final commodification and overwhelming. The art however, can never submit, simply cease to be the process, kill their magic physiology, longer rely on his infinite indeterminacy [2] . This is for my art and culture, and it does not leak or a scratch in a bathroom as the paintings of Van Gogh. So, when shopping, segregate, but also when subsidies, segregate. Everything that can be regarded as mediation between the art and culture and the public, commits the sin and perhaps it can not escape the criticism that can come from anywhere. For me art ought not to be either funded or purchased, or funded, but released [3] .

ever, a few years after the dictatorship ended I found myself chatting with a group of youths who were street theater, and they told me theatrical expression that was dying slowly. So I thought it was the dictatorial fervor that encouraged these artistic expressions but they explained to me: "We make art. During the dictatorship took to the streets in search of people and we did not introduce any problem anywhere. We went all over Chile. We are only complicated when too many people crowded and the cops are nervous. Sometimes we stopped but the few hours we were free. Now, democracy, and we can not use the streets because the law says we must seek permission from the neighbors as what we have to do that in every new city that we come? So if the police come and we ask that document, if we do not, violate the law and that means arrest and imprisonment " [4] . Thought so, then it makes sense that art is rather free of ties, rather than subsidized.

Another story that seems more like a joke, is the other side of the coin: the most expensive painting in history so far is "Number 5" Pollock . Yeah, okay, Pollock was a tormented genius, but 140 million dollars for a work of this kind do not think it justified that at all, and still more when he now belongs to one man, Mexican businessman, David Martinez , and his closest circle. Also, this picture ought to be released from captivity [5] .

This may be a feverish and partial view of one who sees the issue quite so interested, I am a poet, writer, cartoonist, what do I know, and as my ears resound to this excellent phrase that Galeano described the problem for several decades and "Do not sail the boat because there is no sea." No water of freedom.

And if UNESCO declared on culture in 1982 "... culture that gives man the ability to reflect on itself. It is she who makes us specifically human beings, rational, critical and ethically compromised. A Through it we discern values \u200b\u200band make choices. Through it man expresses himself, becomes aware of itself, is recognized as an unfinished project, questions his own achievements, seeks untiringly for new meanings and creates works that transcend "(UNESCO, 1982: Declaration of Mexico) then why do we put the emphasis where there does not?, why solace Him in this kind of racism where skin color is replaced by the amount of money?

Art, and especially the issue of culture, is today one of the most important issues in the process of globalization, where he has been learning about the role of culture in the history of men [6] . And finally, from the point of view that we address the challenge seems to be surrendering to it and float on the waves that leads to somewhere in the distant future, where all directionality always smell some kind of mental fascism. Maybe that's why I prefer the street to the museum. Art and culture are alive and living things. Metamos not in a jar or you build a zoo. Experience art and culture is lived to himself, to belong, and that seems pretty dangerous in a world with so many powerful vested interests. When we reject ourselves, then what comes out we replace our own image, and one that should have our individual and collective self-valorized in their materiality, not their spirituality. Today, it seems that all creation Shall repeat fees and stereotypes, and cover certain areas of the culturalist symbolism, because the new and innovative or is pure barbarism, or frankly delict. Who dares to create it? Victor Jara sang once, that man is a creator. And you can not create no space, no air, no freedom even in the hands have nothing; Violet Louvre filled with wire and bits of wool. Creating is not about cost but air.

[1] Within the type of ideas introduced by Steward, it should be noted the cultural materialism advocated by Marvin Harris and other American anthropologists. This stream may be treated as a form of ecofuncionalismo which fit certain divisions introduced by Marx. Cultural materialism understands that cultural evolution and configuration of companies rely heavily on material conditions, technology and infrastructure. Cultural materialism provides a tripartite division between groups of concepts serving their causal relationship. These groups are called infrastructure (production mode, Technology, General Terms geographical ,...) structure (mode of social organization, hierarchical structure and superstructure ,...) (religious and moral values, artistic creations, laws ,...)..

[2] Roy Rappaport introduced in the discussion of the social idea that culture is part of the same human biology, and evolution of the human being is due to the presence of culture . He pointed out that ... "... Superorganic or not, it must be remembered that culture itself belongs to nature. Emerged in the course of evolution by natural selection processes differ only in the part of those who produced the octopus [...] Although culture is highly developed in males, recent ethological studies have indicated a symbolic capacity among other animals. [...] Although cultures can be imposed on ecological systems, there are limits to these impositions, as the cultures and their components are subject to selective processes in turn.

[3] Likewise Michel Foucault in the famous debate in November 1971 in Holland with Noam Chomsky , answering the question of whether democratic capitalist society was also a negative answer, arguing that a society democracy is based on the effective exercise of power by a population in which no one is divided or ordered hierarchically into classes, which generally holds all education systems, which appear merely as transmitters of knowledge seemingly neutral, are made to maintain a certain social class in power, and excluding instruments power of other social classes.

[4] Louis Althusser proposed that the level of ideology (the major component of culture) is a reflection of the interests of the elite, and that through the ideological state apparatus reproduce in time.

[5] Antonio Gramsci striking the hegemony, a process by which a dominant group is legitimate before the dominated and eventually dominated naturalize and take as desirable domination.

[6] There are Ryazanov collections on cultural theory developed by Marx, in the words of Geertz "The great contribution of Marxism in cultural analysis is that it is understood as the product of relations production, as a phenomenon that is not detached from the mode of production of a society. Also considered as one of the means by which reproduce the social relations of production, allowing the time spent in conditions of inequality between classes "
